Something a bit different this week — why I think there’s a big upside to playing your free hit in GW30.

At this stage of the season, you might be looking to do the ‘optimal’ thing and protect your rank. Which is fine.

My rank is not worth protecting and at this point, I need to do something different to try to make up ground.

Lots will use their Wildcard this week with upcoming fixtures a little clearer, but I think it’s the wrong time.
